IN November 2025, the Australian Government introduced the new Support at Home program, bringing significant changes to how aged care services are delivered at home.

“If you’re already receiving a Home Care Package or Commonwealth Home Support Programme services, your care continues, but under a new structure.
“The updated model is designed to be simpler, with clearer funding levels and a more consistent approach to services.
“There is also a stronger focus on short-term support through restorative care, helping people recover after illness, injury or a hospital stay and regain independence.”
Importantly, My Aged Care remains the first point of contact for anyone wanting to access support, whether for yourself or a loved one.
