
HERE are the winners of Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) awards for Term 2 Week 6.
Irrawang Public School: Mikaylah has been nominated for helping out with cooking a BBQ for her Rugby League team to raise money. Well done Mikaylah.
Raymond Terrace Public School: Jack has been recognised for demonstrating kindness and consideration for others through a selfless act of generosity and inclusion.
Grahamstown Public School: Ivy Shearman is nominated for her outstanding leadership and positive contribution to our school community. During a recent writing workshop visit, Ivy warmly welcomed visiting students from another school, making them feel included and supported throughout the day. She consistently demonstrated kindness, initiative and responsibility, always offering help where needed and leading by example. Ivy is a wonderful role model who proudly demonstrates our school’s PBL values within the wider community.
Irrawang High School: Gabbi recently travelled to Orlando, Florida, to compete at The Dance Worlds and The Summit Championships with her Attitude Dance and Cheer teams. Four of six performances reached the finals, with the Junior Jazz team placing an impressive 8th overall against strong international competition. Always demonstrating our school values of Respect, Responsibility and Personal Best. Congratulations Gabbi!
Hunter River High School: Julia has been nominated in recognition of her conscientious approach to learning and her outstanding performance in the Distance Education course, German Beginners. While studying at another school, she continues to represent our school with excellence.
Salt Ash Public School: Lennore has been nominated for this award for the positive and respectful way she supported students and staff during the Mother’s Day Stall. She consistently demonstrated our school values by offering help wherever it was needed, showing kindness, responsibility and a willingness to assist others. Lennore’s caring attitude and positive contribution helped make the event a success! Well done, Lennore!
Medowie Public School: Arthur is being nominated for his school representation at the Medowie Anzac Day dawn service. He delivered an exceptional speech during the service, moving all by his words. Congratulations Arthur, on being an outstanding school citizen.
Seaham Public School: Dawson is an outstanding school leader who always models respectful, responsible behaviour. At the recent community Anzac service at East Seaham, Dawson researched and delivered an outstanding ANZAC speech about a local community member who fought during World War 1.
Karuah Public School: Braxton is being nominated for cleaning up broken glass within the community. He helped to remove the risk of others getting hurt if they fell off their scooters or bikes and he helped to reduce the likelihood of broken tyres. Well done Braxton!
