WILDLIFE in Need of Care Inc. (WINC) is a dedicated volunteer organisation committed to the rescue, rehabilitation and release of sick, injured and orphaned native wildlife.
WINC provides support across a wide region, including the Port Stephens LGA, servicing areas from Fern Bay west to Duns Creek, Brandy Hill, Seaham, East Seaham and Glen Oak, and north to Karuah.
Their work also extends throughout the Dungog LGA, including Paterson, Vacy, Martins Creek, Wallarobba, Clarence Town, Gresford, East Gresford, Lostock and Carrabolla.
The organisation also assists wildlife across parts of the Southern Mid Coast region, including Hawks Nest, Limeburners Creek, Allworth, Booral, Girvan, The Branch, Nerong and surrounding southern Great Lakes areas.
If you encounter injured, orphaned or distressed wildlife, please contact the 24-hour rescue hotline on 1300 946 295.
As a non-profit organisation, WINC relies on the generosity and support of the community.
