ILLUMINATE Raymond Terrace 2026 will again light up Boomerang Park on Saturday, 19 September.
The free community celebration brings together live music, fire twirlers, fireworks, food, stalls and lanterns in the park from 4 pm to 8 pm.
The much-loved event is supported by local schools, community groups, service organisations, residents and businesses.
Port Stephens Mayor Leah Anderson said Illuminate allowed the community to celebrate its pride in Raymond Terrace.
“Illuminate is about bringing people together and creating something Raymond Terrace is proud of,” she said.
“It’s a great celebration that showcases what makes this place so special.
“From students creating lanterns at school workshops to local businesses getting behind the event and community organisations connecting with residents, Illuminate is a true celebration of Raymond Terrace.”
Local schools are helping to bring Illuminate to life through lantern-making workshops involving students from Irrawang Public School, Raymond Terrace Public School, St Brigid’s Primary School, Grahamstown Public School and Alesco Secondary College.
Mutual Bank is naming rights sponsor for Illuminate 2026 and CEO Mark Williams said the bank was delighted to support an event that reflects the pride and vibrancy of Raymond Terrace.
