TRAVELLERS between Port Stephens and Sydney now have greater flexibility, with Port Stephens Coaches’ Sydney Express service operating seven days a week, excluding Christmas Day.

Responding to strong community demand, the expanded schedule provides residents and visitors with a reliable and comfortable daily connection between Port Stephens and Sydney, making it easier than ever to plan city visits, weekend getaways and onward travel connections.

Whether heading to Port Stephens for a beachside holiday or travelling to Sydney for business, appointments or leisure, passengers can enjoy a convenient service designed to take the stress out of travel.

The Sydney Express offers more than 40 pick-up points throughout Port Stephens, including Nelson Bay, Shoal Bay, Salamander Bay, Fingal Bay, Soldiers Point, Anna Bay and Corlette.

The extensive network provides a practical alternative for those who prefer not to drive or navigate multiple public transport services.

In Sydney, the service stops at Central Station, providing direct access to trains, light rail services and major transport connections across the city.

Additional stops include Hornsby, Pymble and Chatswood, while Ourimbah is available on request in both directions. These locations offer convenient access to medical facilities, educational institutions, retail centres and other transport services.

The morning service departs Port Stephens from 8.25am, arriving at Central Station by 12.35pm.

The afternoon return service leaves Central at 1.45pm and arrives throughout Port Stephens from 4.50pm onwards, providing travellers with a predictable and convenient timetable.

Passengers travel in air-conditioned, seat-belted coaches equipped with onboard restrooms and a 20kg luggage allowance.
