Robyn Killen oil paintings on show at Tilligerry Art Gallery

THE works of well-known local artist Robyn Killen currently grace the walls at Tilligerry Art Gallery, in Lemon Tree Passage.

Ms Killen’s beautiful collection of oil paintings is a delight to experience.

Her work mainly depicts the stunning Bylong Valley, where she lived with her husband on their property before moving with their family to Nelson Bay.

Ms Killen’s love of nature and drawing has always been evident and in 2007 she finally found the time to pursue her passion more seriously.

She has undertaken courses in watercolour and acrylic painting and regularly attended workshops in Katoomba under the guidance of highly regarded Australian traditional landscape oil painter John Wilson.

These experiences strengthened her love of landscape paintings while further developing her knowledge, skills and technique in this wonderful rewarding art form.

Ms Killen’s paintings are widely sought after by art lovers locally and interstate, and Tilligerry Art Gallery is delighted to showcase her work until Sunday December 6.

The gallery prides itself on being a wonderful place to browse, discover something special and meet the friendly volunteers who welcome visitors every day.

Address: 13 Meredith Avenue, Lemon Tree Passage
