ADVERTISING FEATURE: Raymond Terrace StrikeZone freezes holiday prices

AT a time when almost everything is dearer, when the cost of doing business has gone through the roof, Raymond Terrace’s StrikeZone tenpin bowling centre is standing fast on prices during the school holidays.

“We’re just like everyone else, paying a premium for power, fuel, food and beverages. But we have determined that we owe it to our community to hold prices down for as long as possible,” exclaimed StrikeZone owner Neville Marchbank.

“We have been part of this community for more than 20 years.

“We want to be a haven where you can have fun without breaking the bank.”

To this end the centre is continuing its long held tradition of early bird $6 games during the school holidays and specials packages throughout each day of the break.

Specials include two children’s games for $13.95 or a three game package for both children and adults at only $17.95 each.

There’s even a meal deal with two games, a 370ml drink and a choice of either hot dog or chips for just $17.95.

Naturally, the price hikes have impacted the centre’s two-storey extension.

However, Neville is sure people will agree that the wait was worth it once they see the pool, darts, golf and bar offerings.

There has already been a lot of interest in booking functions for the licensed area.
